This is the latest and greatest in cold connection projects!  Learn to form your copper blanks into concave/convex shapes that can be used in a number of ways including your riveted projects!  In this class you will make a series of charms, textured using house-hold items and hung on a pretty copper chain.

Please read the supply and tool list through carefully to ensure you have everything you need for class time.  *This class includes the dapping block you will be using as part of your class fee.

Supplies Needed

  • 16 - 18 inches of copper chain
  • 10 - 12 circular Copper Blanks including a focal size
  • 6 inches of copper wire to make a clasp or a pre-made clasp of your choice (a lobster works well to make it adjustable)
  • 10 - 12 jump rings (as many as you have blanks)
  • (optional) headpins, small amount of accent beads and misc wire can all be used for extra embellishment

TOOLS

  • *Dapping Block (included in class fee)
  • thin flat screwdriver
  • black sharpie marker
  • Chasing hammer, Bench block, a regular household hammer and a hole punch (will have some available for sharing in class but please bring your own if you have them)
  • nail sets of varying size, 1/4" Hardware cloth, design stamps, alphabet stamps and 18ga steel wire (some will be provided for use during class)
